Fujiwara Kuniyoshi

Profile

Kuniyoshi (國吉) is a smith known only from his signature. One blade, undated, is signed 藤原國吉造 (Fujiwara Kuniyoshi tsukuru), with the uji Fujiwara (藤原) before the name. The entry places him in Musashi. The signature is not enough to identify him, and the reference works consulted record neither his teacher, his school nor his years.
