In short

The profile published by the Bizen Osafune Japanese Sword Museum gives his training: he studied engineering at Tottori University, trained with three smiths from 2008 to 2016 and in 2017 completed the NBTHK course for smiths. He does not appear in any of the NBTHK prize lists that have been read (2018, 2019 and 2021 to 2026) nor in those of the Zen Nihon Tōshōkai’s omamori-gatana exhibitions.

What sets him apart is his craft of figurative hamon, which he himself says he owes in part to the boom in swords brought about by the video game Tōken Ranbu. Little of his work has been published: almost all of it is the photos he shows himself.
