Profile
Tosa no Kami Masanobu is a name of which only the signature is known, 土佐守藤原正信 (Tosa no Kami Fujiwara Masanobu), which combines the honorary title of Tosa no Kami, governor of Tosa province, and the uji Fujiwara (藤原) before the name, Masanobu (正信). The title does not indicate where its holder worked. His work is placed in the shintō period. The reference works consulted do not allow his province, his dates or how many smiths signed this way to be established.
