The 2004 Shinjinshō is given by his official card of 2022. The NBTHK lists from 2004 to 2016 and that of 2020 have not been consulted.
How to read them
- The Kunzanshō that some sources gave as earlier than 2022 is from 2021: the official list for that year says so.
- One source attributes a 2021 Kunzanshō to the father, Kanetsugu; the official lists give it to Kanemitsu.
- Neither Kanetsugu, nor Kaneteru, nor Kanehiro, nor Kaneyuki appear in the NBTHK lists from 2017 to 2026. Thirteen selections and prizes from earlier years are credited to Kanetsugu.
- Kanemitsu is not mukansa: he competes in the general section.
