The Masamune Prize
According to him, his 2010 正宗賞 (Masamune-shō) was the sixth to be awarded in fourteen years and the first for a swordsmith from Nagano; nippon.com repeats it. We have not found the official list for that year.
According to him, he was a candidate for the Masamune in 2022 and 2023 with Nanbokuchō-style tachi; that is not a prize.
