A curator of the museum presents the wakizashi Kiriha Sadamune of the Matsudaira house of Takamatsu, in the special exhibition 語る武具 (Kataru Bugu). According to the museum, the blade was burned in the siege of Ōsaka of 1615. It is a different blade from the katana Kiriha Sadamune at the Tokyo National Museum.
